Leduc’s research focuses on the metaphysics of nature in the German and French Enlightenment, in particular Wolff, Maupertuis, Euler and Lambert. Its aim is to show how metaphysics was modified as a result of the increasing autonomy of physics and how it tried to renew itself by focusing on cosmological questions. He is the author of Substance, individu et connaissance chez Leibniz (PUM/Vrin 2009).
